SEMINARS

All of our seminars are at least a half day in length.

Here is a description of the topics listed above:

Stress Management

  • What is stress?
  • How do you know you have it?
  • What makes it such a bad thing?
  • Can stress be useful?
  • How can you harness its usefulness if it can be useful?
  • How can I control the negative effects of stress?
  • How do I protect my career from the effects of stress?

In this seminar, we provide answers to all these questions and more. We provide a comprehensive view of what the phenomenon of stress is without making it tedious or overwhelming. With this foundation in place, we go on to provide education and training in real, tangible stress management skills that people can use with great ease to improve their working lives and their professional lives.

Conquering Depression: Learning to Live Again

According to Canadian Mental Health, depression costs the Canadian economy an estimated 30 billion dollars a year. The cost of depression to people's personal lives is immeasurable as it impacts their relationships, their goals, their aspirations and their sense of personal worth.

The World Health Organization (WHO) states that, in terms of days lived without disability per year, depression rates second only to heart disease.

It is fair to say that depression is a very significant malady afflicting the world today.

This seminar is designed to shed light on why depression is such a big problem in our world today and how we got to this stage. Further, we explore what some of the frequent causes of depression are before discussing how to protect oneself from depression and, if one already has depression, how to cure oneself of this immensely destructive force.

In this seminar, we provide education, psychological insight on depression and real skills people can apply to ward off depression if they don't have it and cure themselves of it if they do.

This is our most important seminar.

Building Strong Relationships

Canada's divorce rate stands at roughly 36%. There is both good news and bad news in this statistic. The good news is that the divorce rate is not as high as it is often stated to be in the media. The bad news, of course, is that more than 1 out of every 3 marriages will end in divorce, as things stand.

Building Strong Relationships is a very important seminar that rests on our belief that marriages can be happy and last forever.

In this seminar, we identify the common pitfalls that make a marriage fail. We provide education, training and insight into how to avoid these snares, and we provide real skills couples can use to make their marriages happy and strong, including how to manage anger, how to communicate when angry, how to resolve conflicts in a productive way, what the signs of an eroding marriage are, how to prevent the erosion of the marriage, and many more.
